Brief Case : accused of rape
  false allegations

Natalie was jailed for six months when she admitted she had lied when claiming to have been raped. She had done so after her friend had received £7,500 in compensation as a victim of a similar crime.

Natalie claimed that a stranger had raped her, and a homeless man answering the description was arrested and held in custody.

Her deception only came to light when her boyfriend was later arrested for theft, and his DNA was found to match the "rape" sample.
