Dennis bought 1,000 tabs of what he thought was LSD, and was caught by the police trying to sell them.
When the tablets were analysed they were found not to contain LSD, but a harmless vegetable product that was not at all illegal. Despite this, Dennis was accused and found guilty of supplying an illegal or controlled drug, because his intention was to supply LSD.
